Sterilizing Services

As part of our sterilization process, KAPOW Commercial Cleaning uses ANTI-MICROBIAL products with CDC approved Emerging Viral Pathogens and Human Coronavirus claims for use against COVID-19. The products we use inhibit growth of microorganisms up to 48 hours. Typically other cleaning companies only use all-purpose cleaners, which may not have disinfectants or sterilants and they leave your business at risk.

In order to help prevent the spread of viruses, the CDC recommends cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces daily or as often as possible. This includes tables, desks, doorknobs, light switches, counter tops, handles, desks, phones, keyboards, toilets, faucets, and sinks. Disinfecting

Disinfection is the process of eliminating or reducing harmful microorganisms from inanimate objects and surfaces. Disinfecting agents can kill microorganisms, as long as the chemical is still wet on the surface.

Cleaning

Cleaning is the removal of soil, dust, and organic debris from a surface. A thorough cleaning of any surface is an important step before high-level disinfection and sterilization. However, a simple cleaning should also not be confused with disinfection and sterilization.

Sterilizing

Sterilization is the process of absolutely killing all microorganisms and destroying the spores of various organisms present on surfaces. Sterilizing agents can continue to kill microorganisms on surfaces for up to 48 hours (sometimes longer) after the initial application.
